LOEWE x MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO

The collaboration was born out of shared values: a mutual love of craft and artisanal techniques, a respective focus on nature and its importance to humankind, and a collective celebration of female empowerment. 

 

 

My Neighbor Totoro is an animated feature film released in 1988 by Japanese animation house Studio Ghibli. The tale of two sisters that discover a collection of friendly woodland spirits – including the fuzzy black Dust Bunnies and huge rotund Totoro of the film’s title – is an enchanting flight of fantasy, capturing the wonder and mystery of childhood.

 

 

These characters are the focus of this new capsule collection, incorporating the film’s whimsical landscapes and fantastical creatures into a selection of limited-edition ready to wear, iconic bags, leather products and accessories, using LOEWE’s signature highly crafted techniques like marquetry of embroidery.
